About this event

The stories haunting Gloucestershire's familiar places

Kirsty Hartsiotis explores the ghosts and stories attached to Gloucestershire's countryside and historic buildings. The evening includes mysterious, funny and romantic tales, tracing the histories behind the county's spooks as well as the hauntings themselves.

The hall has a level wooden floor, wheelchair seating and an accessible toilet on the ground floor. Contact the venue ahead if you need a particular seat or hearing loop support.

The free Old Railyard Long Stay Car Park is next door, but it is shared with other visitors and can fill at busy events. Doors open at 6.45pm, with a licensed bar available before the talk.

Hartsiotis co-wrote Gloucestershire Ghost Tales with Anthony Nanson and is an Arts Society lecturer who writes about regional folklore for Cotswold Life. Her mix of local history and storytelling offers another way to look at places you might pass without knowing their ghost stories.

Ticketed; book in advance or check admission availability on the door.
