William Howard and Carducci String Quartet

Hear the sound change when the piano joins the quartet

The Carducci String Quartet opens with Haydn's 'Sunrise' Quartet in B flat, Op. 76 No. 4. William Howard then joins them for Schumann's Piano Quintet in E flat, Op. 44, before an interval and Brahms's Piano Quintet in F minor, Op. 34.

Howard's career in chamber music has taken him to more than 40 countries. The award-winning Carducci Quartet performs core repertoire alongside new commissions, bringing its international concert and competition experience to this programme.

The hall, foyer and box office are accessible on the ground floor, with level wheelchair spaces and an accessible toilet; contact the venue about seating requirements. The adjacent Old Railyard long-stay car park is free but shared with other visitors, so allow time to park before the doors open.
