The Songs of Nick Drake: Keith James with Richie Cotterill

Four finely tuned guitars and the fragile songs of Nick Drake

Keith James brings his long-running Songs of Nick Drake concert to Tetbury with flautist Richie Cotterill. James sings and plays unusually tuned acoustic guitars, while Cotterill adds flutes and harmony vocals to songs including River Man, Northern Sky, Fruit Tree, Day is Done and Things Behind the Sun.

The production has toured UK theatres since 2001 and keeps the focus on Drake's songwriting and the detail of a live acoustic arrangement. Four finely tuned guitars and Cotterill's changing flute colours give the set more texture than a straight solo tribute.

The Goods Shed's hall and foyer are accessible on the ground floor, with floor-level wheelchair spaces available by arrangement, while the standard raked seating has steps. The venue says its hearing loop does not work for acoustic events, so contact the box office if access support matters.
