Shed Cinema: Royal Opera - La Bohème

A lost key starts a Parisian love story

Puccini's penniless poet Rodolfo meets seamstress Mimi in a story of young artists, friendship and fragile romance in 19th-century Paris. Shed Cinema brings the Royal Opera's recorded 2017 La Bohème to Tetbury, directed by Richard Jones and conducted by Antonio Pappano.

Michael Fabiano and Nicole Car sing Rodolfo and Mimi, with Mariusz Kwiecien as Marcello and Simona Mihai as Musetta. The relationships between the four friends carry an evening of soaring melodies and an increasingly difficult love story.

Doors and the bar open half an hour before the screening, leaving time for a drink before settling into the film. Wheelchair places are limited, and the venue accepts CEA Cards through its office, so contact the Goods Shed before booking if you need accessible seating or a companion ticket.

The free Old Railyard Long Stay Car Park beside the venue has six disabled spaces. It is shared with other visitors, so allow extra time to park and make the 7pm start.

Ticketed. Book through Tetbury Goods Shed.
