About this event
Opposable Thumb Theatre (UK) and Nordland Visual Theatre (Norway) bring their five-star international co-production to Tetbury Goods Shed on 11 July. Dik Downey performs solo for 55 minutes with a gallery of puppets, following Don Quixote's delusional quest alongside Sancho Panza and the decrepit Rocinante. Alongside it runs a second story: Dik's own refusal to accept ageing and dwindling relevance, mirroring Quixote's refusal to yield to reality.
Downey brings experience from Green Ginger and Pickled Image, and the production builds on Opposable Thumb's Coulrophobia, which collected five-star reviews across Total Theatre, The Wee Review, The List and more. Directed by Emma Williams. Ages 14 and over. 55 minutes, no interval.
Advance tickets £15 (adult) or £10 (under-25). On the door £18 and £13. Book via Tetbury Goods Shed.
