About this event
A struggling tailor and ambitious mice chase success in a town losing its colour in Farnham Maltings' new adaptation of The Tailor of Gloucester. Four actor-musicians tell the story through live rock and pop music, inventive puppetry, jokes and a wardrobe of surprises.
Alex Kanefsky adapts Beatrix Potter's tale, with an original score by Darren Clark. The show is for ages three and over; under-threes can attend without a ticket but need a booked seat if they want one of their own.
Allow until about 4.30pm for the afternoon visit. The church has ramped access and some uneven floor tiles, with a level route from the High Street through The Shambles.
Church Street Short Stay car park is next door, with five disabled bays and free Sunday parking; its route to the church has uneven steps. Use the level approach if needed and confirm hearing support with the venue before booking. The puppet mice and live band give this familiar story a different sound.
Ticketed. Advance booking recommended.
