Friday 30 October
📍 Cirencester

About this event
Peter Clegg, chief executive of the Bathurst Estate, joins Cirencester Civic Society for a talk about conserving the estate's buildings and landscape. He will cover soil protection and sustainable tourism, giving a behind-the-scenes view of work the public may rarely see.
Cirencester Baptist Church is fully accessible, with disabled facilities. Parking is available at the church and nearby.
The estate's wider work includes improving the energy efficiency of older buildings, riverbank restoration and woodland management. For anyone who walks in Cirencester Park, the talk is a chance to understand the decisions behind the landscape.
Free for members; visitors are welcome with a donation invited on the door.
