Stroud Reading Room: After-hours Reading at Coffee#1

Read your own book, with company when you want it

Stroud Reading Room has arranged an evening at Coffee#1 after the cafe's usual closing time. Bring your own book, Kindle or audiobook with headphones; there is no assigned reading and no pressure to talk.

The two-hour session starts with half an hour to arrive, order a drink and chat, followed by an hour of quiet reading. Another half hour at the end gives you time to socialise or share thoughts about your book. It is a way to put aside some reading time without having to finish the same novel as everyone else.

Food and drinks must be purchased directly from Coffee#1.
