About this event
Sequins optional, cause compulsory. Malmesbury Stands With Ukraine is taking over The Kings Arms for Eurovision night — big screen, games, snacks, a raffle, and an auction, all running alongside the contest from 7:30pm.
Fancy dress is encouraged, with prizes for the most impressive costumes, and the bar will be open late. It's a proper party format rather than just a watch-along — the kind of evening that works even for people who claim not to care about Eurovision and then find themselves very invested by the semi-finals.
Tickets are £10 a head and every penny goes towards a specific, tangible goal: buying, kitting out, and driving a second-hand ambulance to Cherkasy — Malmesbury's Ukrainian friendship town — where it's needed urgently.
Malmesbury Stands With Ukraine has been running community fundraisers and supporting Ukrainian refugees in the area for several years. This one's worth showing up for, dressed ridiculously or otherwise.
