About this event

Dickens with singing, dancing and three Christmas ghosts

Athelstan Players bring Scrooge, Bob Cratchit and Marley's ghost to St Marys Hall for A Christmas Carol. Dramatic storytelling and atmospheric music follow the visits of Christmas Past, Present and Yet to Come, with singing and dancing added to this year's production.

The company is presenting the Dickens story as a change from its usual festive pantomime. It is advertised for audiences of all ages, with evening performances on Thursday, Friday and Saturday and a Saturday matinee.

St Marys Hall is a Grade II listed former church, and venue-specific access details have not been confirmed. The approach from Station Yard long-stay parking includes steep steps, so check your route and any access requirements before travelling.

Ticketed. Book through Athelstan Players.
