Weave Your Own Willow Basket

A full day learning to weave a proper framed basket with a handle — using natural willow in colours of your choosing, with a tutor who clearly knows her craft. Kelly takes you through the basics: weaving techniques, willow vocabulary (yes, there's vocabulary), colour selection, and how to care for what you've made once you get it home.

It's a beginner-friendly workshop, but fair warning — willow weaving is rewarding and genuinely hard on your fingers. You'll be at it from 10am to 4:30pm, so bring lunch and a pair of secateurs. Tea, coffee and biscuits are on the house.

Held at Lechlade Memorial Hall Pavilion in town. £85 plus a £10–£20 materials fee on the day.
