No-Sew Lampshade Making Workshop (20cm or 30cm)

Make a lampshade that suits your room

This beginner friendly, no sew workshop lets you make a 20cm or 30cm drum lampshade for a ceiling light or lamp base. All the lampshade making components are included apart from the outer fabric, so you can choose a pattern that works with your room.

Bring half a metre of light to medium weight fabric, avoiding heavy textures, stretchy fabrics, velvet and heavy embroidery. Allow a little extra for patterned fabric; samples of both sizes will help you choose, while the organiser's fabric stash gives you a fallback if you forget or do not have a suitable piece.

The workshop takes place at Lechlade Memorial Hall Pavilion, a ground floor accessible venue with free parking, and tea and coffee are included. Kits are also available if you want to keep making lampshades at home.
