Add 24ct gold to the silver you make yourself

Spend a day at Lechlade Craft Barn learning the Korean Keum Boo technique, with the option to bond 24ct gold foil to silver. The workshop suits beginners as well as people with some jewellery-making experience.

With Fiona Dowling of Jewellery Moves, you can make a bangle, earrings, pendant or spinner ring while learning to saw, solder, file, hammer, hand-stamp and finish sterling silver jewellery to wear home. Tools, tea, coffee and biscuits are included, but materials are extra and payable to the tutor on the day.

Bring lunch, tie back long hair and bring glasses if you wear them. The barn is reached by external stone steps with handrails, so check the access arrangements carefully if mobility is a concern. The organiser does not publish parking or public transport guidance.
