Revealing the Romans - Museum inspired relaxed family session

A quieter way into the museum's Roman collection

The Museum in the Park runs its relaxed sessions for children who find standard opening hours too loud or unpredictable, capping numbers at twelve and setting up a chill-out zone that families can step into whenever they need to.

This one is built around Rome: dressing up as a Roman, designing your own coin, making a paper mosaic, and joining a hands-on archaeological dig, drawing on a collection that includes material from the Woodchester Roman villa discovery. Children need to be over five and accompanied by an adult, who doesn't need a ticket themselves.
