About this event
Museum Curator Zoe Wilcox leads this 30-minute tour of Museum in the Park as part of the Dobunni Poetry Festival. The museum is housed in a Grade II listed mansion dating from 1674, with more than 4,000 objects telling the story of Stroud and the surrounding district.
The group is limited to 10, making this a compact introduction rather than a general drop-in visit. The festival lists it as a separate session from the 10am writing workshop that follows at the museum; step-free access, a lift and accessible routes through the venue are available, while the regular Friday opening time is 10am, so follow the festival's arrival instructions for this early start.
Ticketed and currently sold out. Check the festival event page for any release or update; the M5 is also scheduled to close between junctions 11 and 12 from 11pm that evening, which may affect later journeys home.
