A 44-mile ride with coffee at the start and pizza at the finish

This charity sportive sets off from Ride 24/7 for a 44-mile ride through Cotswold villages, with riders leaving in small groups. The organiser says it welcomes all abilities, but the advertised distance is worth bearing in mind if you are looking for a short beginner ride.

Doors open at 9.30am for coffee and croissants before the group rolls out at 10am. There is a halfway coffee stop, but that drink is not included, while pizza is planned back at Ride 24/7 at the end.

Bring your bike and helmet, and check the booking page for the latest route and event-day instructions because no named villages, GPX or elevation profile is published. Money remaining after costs will be donated to Movember's work on men's health.
