Modern calligraphy strips traditional letterforms back to their most legible parts — taught with a dip pen and ink rather than a brush marker. Helen from Wallace Lettering teaches the kind of morning where you leave with a skill you can practice at home.

The workshop covers pen hold, basic strokes, letter forms, and joining. Materials provided. No previous calligraphy experience required. The afternoon Brush Lettering session covers the same ground with a brush — you can do one, or both.
