Jesmonite casting at Lechlade Craft Barn

Jesmonite is a water-based composite material — gypsum combined with acrylic resin — that you pour into moulds to cast decorative objects. It sets relatively quickly, takes pigment well, and produces pieces that look like stone or ceramic when finished. Lechlade Craft Barn's August workshop covers the process from mixing to demolding, with participants making a decorative piece to take home.
