The setting alone would justify going: Adam Henson's Cotswold Farm Park on a late summer Saturday evening, the hills behind Guiting Power turning golden, and a field full of machines that have no business being this beautiful. Engines - the Cotswolds is a series of summer evening shows that has been building a following quickly, and this is the August edition.

Cars span modern classics, supercars, vintage vehicles and rally cars, displayed in relaxed style rather than any formal concours arrangement. There's live music, a fully licensed bar open until 10pm, food from local caterers, and it's explicitly dog and family friendly. The event runs three hours on the dot, 6pm to 9pm, with no rush.
