About this event
There's something about an evening triathlon that a morning race can't match — the light on the water at 7pm, the calm of a field that hasn't been stood in all day, the fact that you're done and home in time to still feel like a person.
Race the Cotswolds Lake 62 Evening Series is held at a privately owned lake in Ashton Keynes — one of the quieter corners of what used to be called the Cotswold Water Park. The standard triathlon is 400m in the gravel-filtered lake, 15.7km on open Cotswold roads, and 4.5km on the lake path back to the finish. Not a swimmer? There's a duathlon, an aquabike and an aquathlon option too — around 150 entries across the field. It's a compact site, so spectators can watch most of the action without moving much.
Site opens at 16:00 with registration and transition from 17:30, and the triathlon waves roll off from 18:45. Standard entries are £38, with day entries at £45 if spots remain — but entries close at 08:00 on the Monday before race day, so check availability this week.
