Make a larger stained-glass piece over two full days

This two-day copper foil stained glass workshop gives you time to make a larger piece rather than squeeze the craft into a taster session. Working with Sharon of Maybug Studio, beginners and people with previous experience can choose from a garden ornament, decorated mirror, four lantern panels or a panel for a freestanding wooden frame.

You can also discuss your own design with Sharon, provided it is achievable in the time, and work at your own pace with individual guidance. The ground-floor Pavilion is accessible and has plenty of space, but this lead-solder workshop is not suitable for anyone who is pregnant or under 16. Bring lunch, wear closed-toe shoes and tie back long hair.

Tuition and tool use are included, with tea, coffee and biscuits provided; materials are paid separately to the tutor. The organiser currently lists the workshop as sold out, so availability is worth checking if places are released.
