Explore Cirencester's older streets through the stories of its pubs and inns, including buildings that still serve drinks, former pubs now in private use and premises that have disappeared. The walk connects those places with national events and social changes that reached the town through its drinking houses.

Meet at Corinium Museum for an 11am start, and allow around 75 to 90 minutes for the walk. The route uses level pavements and sometimes passes through town traffic, so wear comfortable shoes and bring a raincoat.

Booking is recommended, with places limited to 10 people. Check the outdoor route with the museum before booking if you have access requirements.
