Brush Lettering Workshop

Confident Letters with a Brush

The brush version of calligraphy requires different control from the pen — the angle, pressure, and sweep all change. Helen from Wallace Lettering teaches it as an afternoon session at Lechlade Memorial Hall Pavilion, companion to her morning calligraphy class.

Beginners welcome. The session focuses on the brush strokes that form letters, with practice on actual layouts rather than isolated exercises. Materials provided.
