About this event

Guitar, fiddle and songs from the road

UK and New Zealand duo Hugh Maffey and Phoebe Hewitt bring vocal harmonies, rhythmic guitar and violin improvisation to Pitchcombe. Their partnership dates to 2022 and a European cycling and busking tour.

Folk tunes, original songs and storytelling make up an evening that draws on folk, reggae and classical influences. AIR in G presents the concert in a former village school, converted into Pitchcombe's community hall in the 1950s.

The hall has 32 free parking spaces, an entrance ramp, a handrail from the car park, an accessible toilet and a hearing loop. Contact the organiser before booking if you need particular seating or access arrangements.

Approach from the A4173 and take the track towards the church, using GL6 6LP for satnav. A bus stop is within a five-minute walk, but check Sunday evening services and your return journey before relying on public transport.

Ticketed. Book in advance.
