Workshop with Vivienne Beaumont: Fabric Faces

Make a face in fabric without worrying about getting it right

This full-day workshop offers a gentler route into portrait making for anyone who finds drawing faces intimidating. Vivienne Beaumont uses relaxed drawing methods before helping you translate favourite sketches into fabric through stencilling, applique and stitch.

The session forms part of the Textile Study Group's UNmaking programme and is suitable for adults and young people aged 14 and over. All materials are provided, and you should bring a packed lunch. The museum has step-free access, with a free main car park about five minutes away and accessible parking directly outside.
