WorkshopNO IDEAS BUT IN THINGS WRITING WORKSHOP
Friday 16 October
📍 Stroud

About this event
Begin with a short outdoor introduction to Cleeve Common, using its birds, hedgehogs, deer, fungi and berries as inspiration for the workshop. A hot drink and cake follow before you move into lino printing at the golf club.
Gemma Hastilow, an artist, trained teacher and Cleeve Common nature surveyor, guides you through designing, carving and printing a single-colour A5 image. You do not need to be confident at drawing, and the equipment is supplied. Cards and prints go home with you, so the morning's wildlife ideas become something you can keep.
Wear sturdy footwear and seasonal clothing for the unsurfaced paths, and bring an apron or old clothes for the ink. There is no formal lunch break, so bring a packed lunch or buy something at the golf club; parking is paid. Contact Cleeve Common Trust before booking if you have access requirements.
Booking is essential for ages 14 and over. A seven-day refund cutoff applies.
