About this event
Cirencester Eclectic Strings plays Vivaldi's The Four Seasons, Mozart's Eine Kleine Nachtmusik and Bach's Brandenburg Concerto No. 3 in St John Baptist Church. The local string orchestra draws players from Gloucestershire and beyond, with Nick Steel conducting and Tina Gardiner and Kathryn Broadhurst as joint leaders.
The ensemble's wider repertoire stretches from Baroque music to film scores, although this evening centres on the three named classical works. Cirencester's wool church gives them a setting with excellent acoustics, a useful reason to hear familiar music away from a recording.
The church has level access to its main areas, accessible toilets nearby and parking within 250 metres. Ask the organiser about seating or toilet arrangements if you have specific access needs, and confirm the finishing time if you need to plan onward travel.
Ticketed. Book through Cirencester Eclectic Strings.
