About this event
Tetbury Wool Fair brings independent yarn makers, spinners and dyers into the Goods Shed, alongside live sheep, alpacas and silk moths. Demonstrations include Great Wheel and drop spindle spinning, plus a working Sock Crank, so there is plenty to watch as well as browse.
Bring unwanted knitting books, magazines or patterns for the swap table, or take your current crochet or knitting project to the knitters' table for advice and company. Ticket holders can also collect an exclusive sock pattern created for the fair.
A separate 1pm talk on Cotswold Lion sheep has limited capacity and takes place upstairs in the Finnish Railway Carriage, which is reached only by stairs. Timed morning and afternoon entry is available, and overflow parking is at Tetbury Town Football Club if the adjacent public car park is full.
Ticketed. The 1pm Cotswold sheep talk is booked separately.
