Silver Clay Jewellery Workshop with a Touch of Sparkle

A little sparkle in something you made yourself

Shape and texture silver clay into pendants, drop earrings or bracelet charms, then take home solid silver jewellery. Seasonal Christmas shapes and the option to set a cubic zirconia give this full-day workshop a festive angle, whether you are making a present or something for yourself.

Jo Richards of Faye Benjamin Jewellery guides beginners and more experienced makers through the techniques. Equipment, tea, coffee and biscuits are included, but materials, including 7g of silver clay, are paid for separately on the day; extra clay is available if needed.

Bring lunch, glasses if you wear them and an optional apron. Tie back long hair, wear sturdy closed-toe shoes and avoid trailing scarves or fluffy clothing that could stick to the clay.

This session takes place on the first floor of Lechlade Memorial Hall, with stairs, a lift and adjacent free parking. Bring your own chain or ear wires if you want to finish your jewellery with them, or buy them from the tutor; starter kits are also available if you want to keep making at home.
