Scummy Mummies: Hot Mess

Adult comedy with songs, sketches and sparkly catsuits

Scummy Mummies brings Helen Thorn and Ellie Gibson to Chipping Norton with a brand new comedy show for adults. Its advertised subjects run from menopause and mansplaining to teenagers and Tinder, with the duo mixing live comedy and musical material.

The theatre says the pair follow two sold-out shows in 2025, while the official Scummy Mummies tour page also describes Hot Mess as a brand new show. The theatre lists a two-hour running time and promises new songs, sketches, stand-up and sparkly new catsuits.

There are two listed showings, on Tuesday 6 and Wednesday 7 October, both starting at 7.30pm. Free long-stay car parks are a short walk from The Theatre, and the venue asks visitors not to park directly outside because Spring Street is narrow and residential. Step-free access reaches the stalls, bar, ticket collection and toilets through the Spring Street bar door, with wheelchair spaces available via the Box Office.

Ticketed. Check the theatre page for current availability and booking details.
