Music & ArtsFreeDobunni Exhibition: Friday
Friday 16 October
📍 Stroud

About this event
Cellist Raphael Wallfisch and pianist Simon Callaghan bring three contrasting works to Holy Trinity Church as part of Stroud Arts Festival's 80th celebration. The programme moves from Beethoven's energetic Sonata in A major to Rachmaninoff's rich Sonata in G minor, with Henriëtte Bosmans' atmospheric Three Impressions completing the evening.
Doors open at 6.30pm for a 7pm recital, with the concert scheduled to finish at 9pm. It is a focused chamber-music programme with plenty of contrast, from warm musical dialogue to darker Romantic drama and finely drawn twentieth-century miniatures.
Ticketed. Adult and under-18 tickets are available.
