Pressure (12A)

When the weather forecast could change the course of D-Day

Pressure follows General Dwight D. Eisenhower and RAF meteorologist James Stagg through the 72 hours before D-Day, when weather forecasts help shape an impossible decision. The cast includes Andrew Scott, Brendan Fraser, Kerry Condon, Chris Messina and Damian Lewis.

This is a 12A war drama with a 100-minute runtime. The BBFC notes moderate violence, injury detail, strong language and threat, including D-Day landing scenes.

The Chipping Norton run includes evening screenings on Friday 9, Saturday 10 and Thursday 15 October, plus an explicitly relaxed performance on Monday 12 October at 10.30am.

The Theatre has level access to the stalls through the Spring Street bar entrance and an accessible toilet near the bar, but no lift to the balcony or gallery. There is limited parking outside, with long-stay car parks on New Street and Albion Street a short walk away.

Ticketed. Check the theatre page for current availability and booking details.
