About this event

Two sisters, two ways through Austen's world

Daisy Edgar-Jones and Esme Creed-Miles play Elinor and Marianne Dashwood in Georgia Oakley's 2026 film adaptation of Jane Austen's Sense and Sensibility. The sisters navigate love, loss and the social rules shaping their choices in a PG drama that runs just over two hours.

The film includes upsetting scenes, very mild threat, sex references and language. Level access reaches the stalls, bar and toilets through the Spring Street bar door, with wheelchair spaces and companion seats available; there is no lift to the balcony.

Parking directly outside the theatre is limited, so use nearby New Street or Albion Street car parks and allow time to walk. Further evening screenings are on Sunday 29 November and Wednesday 2 December, both at 7.30pm, with the December showing captioned if that makes your cinema visit easier.

Ticketed; book your chosen screening in advance.
