NO IDEAS BUT IN THINGS WRITING WORKSHOP

What can a museum object tell you about home?

This hands-on poetry workshop with Emily Wills uses objects, places and everyday textures as starting points for new writing. You will work with artefacts and fragments from the museum's collections, details from the local landscape and your own personal histories.

Guided exercises, gentle prompts and shared discussion will help you turn what you carry, inherit or use to anchor yourself to Stroud and its valleys into poems. The session welcomes complete beginners and people already developing their poetic practice, with curiosity and close attention more useful than previous experience.

The venue's access information includes step-free entry, a lift and hearing loop, with room-specific details worth checking if you need them. The main Stratford Park car park is free but a short walk away, while accessible bays are available directly outside the museum.

Ticketed event. Booking required.
