Three new voices, one sharp hour in Stroud

Hosted by Kate Potts at Borderless Books, NEW SHOOTS brings Kym Deyn, Suyin du Bois and Ellora Sutton together for readings from their debut collections and pamphlet. The 60-minute session is a chance to hear three contemporary poets in the festival's official bookshop.

Deyn's Folkish, Du Bois's Eating Air and Sutton's Little Bitch are the books at the centre of the session, with the festival biographies also pointing to work across independent presses, magazines and poetry journals. If you like finding writers early, this is a neatly focused way into the festival's wider programme.

Borderless Books is at 4 London Road in central Stroud, close to the station and bus station, with nearby council car parks. A local venue note reports step-free access to the ground floor and a toilet, but the bookshop's own event page does not publish detailed access or seating information, so check before travelling if you need specific arrangements.
