Met Opera: Cosi fan tutte (12A)

When Mozart's lovers meet a Coney Island thrill ride

Mozart's satirical comedy of fickle young love arrives on screen at The Theatre Chipping Norton as part of the Met: Live in HD season. Phelim McDermott's staging moves the action to a 1950s Coney Island amusement park, where two pairs of lovers find themselves on an emotional and literal thrill ride.

Federica Lombardi and Samantha Hankey lead the cast as Fiordiligi and Dorabella, opposite Duke Kim and Andrey Zhilikhovsky as Ferrando and Guglielmo. Gerald Finley plays the cynical Don Alfonso, with Ana María Martínez as Despina, the witty maid.

The venue lists a running time of 3 hours 57 minutes and a 12A rating, so allow most of the evening for the screening. The event page currently shows tickets available.
