The Whirlwind is coming to Stroud and you can chalk your cue against one of snooker's most thrilling players in an afternoon that blends nostalgia with the chance to actually play.

Jimmy White MBE, the man who brought flair and drama to the baize through the 1980s and 90s, is hosting a five-hour meet and greet at the Carlton Club that goes beyond the usual handshake.

Depending on your ticket tier, Platinum, VIP, Gold or Silver, you'll get a dedicated meet and greet slot, pictures and signings, then gather for a talk and Q&A where White takes questions, before the real draw: the chance to pot a frame against him.

There's memorabilia too, and the Carlton's usual pool tables and bar mean you can settle in properly.
