KidsHistorical Cookery School: The Real American Burger (Age 6 to 11ish)
Wednesday 28 October
📍 Cirencester

About this event
Children aged six and over can try the tools and techniques that came before keyboards and pens at this hands-on Cirencester History Festival workshop. They can press marks into clay tablets, smooth messages into wax and use a quill to see how writing once worked.
The two-hour drop-in session is aimed at curious young makers, and each child must be accompanied by an adult. It takes place in Cirencester Library during the festival's family programme.
The library has a level accessible entrance, a lift to the first floor and an accessible toilet on the ground floor. Waterloo Car Park is the nearest car park, and the library also notes a nearby bus stop and bicycle racks.
Free entry. Drop in, no ticket required.
