WorkshopAround the Table XL IX
Saturday 17 October
📍 Cirencester

About this event
Spend a full day learning traditional smocking with textile artist Jocasta Bullock. You will practise the basic stitches and create a decorative sampler, making this a hands-on introduction to a technique once used to combine strength and detailed pattern in labourers' clothing.
The workshop takes place at New Brewery Arts, where lifts, ramps and aerial walkways give wheelchair access to most of the building. There is a ground-floor accessible toilet, and disabled parking is available in the adjoining Brewery Car Park.
The event is sold out, but the festival has opened a waiting list because places sometimes become available. It may add a second workshop if there is enough interest.
Ticketed. Sold out, with a waiting list available.
