Living Nativity Animals at Roots + Seeds

Meet the nativity animals, then settle in for a Christmas story

A 30-minute family session at Roots + Seeds combines time with nativity animals and festive storytime. Spend 20 minutes with the animals, then listen to a 10-minute Christmas story.

Donkeys, goats and ponies are among the visiting animals. There may be a chance to give them a gentle stroke, but contact cannot be guaranteed because their welfare comes first.

Sessions start every half-hour from 9am to 2.30pm on both Saturday and Sunday, so choose a time when booking. Food and drinks at the café can be bought separately, with table bookings available if you want to stay for a meal.

The nearby Old Kennels car park is cashless and intended for short stays, with accessible bays available. Contact the restaurant to arrange accessible parking closer to the venue or to check the session area’s access before travelling.

Ticketed. Book a timed session in advance.
