Costumed characters from Chedworth Roman Villa come to Cirencester Market for a family-friendly drop-in about Roman Britain's darker side. They will share tales of restless spirits, strange omens and ancient superstitions in the town centre throughout the day.

The drop-in format makes this easy to visit alongside other Saturday plans, without committing to a timed talk. The festival lists Abbey Grounds, Waterloo, Forum and Brewery among the nearest car parks, with limited parking in Market Place and some free weekend parking at St James's Place House.
