Music & ArtsFreeDobunni Exhibition: Friday
Friday 16 October
📍 Stroud

About this event
Living Matter turns the Chapels of Rest into a 40-minute spatial sound installation, weaving poetry, music, song and field recordings into a work rooted in the ancient landscape. It is a collaboration between composer Mara Simpson, sound engineer Tobin Jones, poet JLM Morton and artist Narna Hue.
The Friday session is a drop-in afternoon from 14:00 to 17:00, so there is no timed performance to catch. The room holds up to 40 people; if it is full, the festival says you can watch films and hear recordings in the adjacent room or walk around the cemetery's nature reserve. There is no parking at the cemetery, and the council advises staying on paths because the ground can be uneven and hidden holes may be present.
Free entry. You do not need to book a ticket.
