James Phelan - The Man Who Was Magic

Try keeping a step ahead of the mind-reader

James Phelan brings his 2026 touring production of The Man Who Was Magic to the Sundial Theatre. Stage magic, illusion and mind-reading make up an evening lasting around 140 minutes, including an interval.

The recommended age is 12 and over, as younger children may find the mind-reading sections harder to follow. The bar opens at 6.30pm before the 7.30pm show, giving you time to settle in before the first trick.

Use the college entrance and follow the site road round to the right for the free car park, which has more than 400 spaces. Do not use Deer Park School Drive or its car park.

The whole theatre complex is wheelchair accessible and has a hearing loop. Contact the box office with specific requirements beforehand, or speak to the team on arrival.

Ticketed. Book through the theatre's online box office.
