About this event
Hugh Turner and Chris Cobbson lead this quartet on guitars, joined by Jasper Morrissey on drums and Paul Jefferies on bass. Jazz, blues and funk meet African rhythms, with golden-era show tunes also part of the musical mix.
Turner brings his blues and funk background, while Cobbson has worked with Osibisa and Courtney Pine. The concert's musical reference points include Wes Montgomery, Peter Green, George Duke and Abdullah Ibrahim.
Standard-view seats sit in an arc in front of and around the stage, and a bar and snacks are available. Tell the organiser if you want to sit with someone booked under another name or have a seating preference; requests are handled first come, first served.
The museum has accessible facilities and toilets, but check concert-room seating arrangements with the organiser before booking if needed. Old Station Car Park, GL7 1US, is about a two-minute walk away and takes payment by card or the PaybyPhone app.
Ticketed. Book in advance.
