Two days for music that rarely shares a bill

Hidden Notes returns to Stroud for a weekend spread across seven town-centre venues, bringing contemporary classical, electronic, folk and experimental music into churches, galleries, arts spaces and record shops. Saturday's main concerts include Yann Tiersen, Adrian Utley, Poppy Ackroyd and Širom.

Sunday brings Dame Evelyn Glennie and Catrin Finch together, alongside Maria W Horn, Phaedra Ensemble, Leon Michener and Madrigirl. Away from the main concerts there are book talks, film screenings, installations, breakfast sessions and performances in independent record shops.

STUDI0 MCGUIRE are the festival's resident artists at Lansdown Hall, with their Fairies & Filth installation open to weekend ticket holders. Several of the smaller events have limited capacity, so arrive early if there is one you particularly want to catch.
