FamilyOctober Half Term: Ghosts, Pumpkins & Tudor Tales

About this event
Cleeve Hill sits at 330 metres, the highest point in the Cotswolds, and on a July Friday morning the wind coming off the escarpment is reliably good. The Cleeve Common Trust has been running these family sessions for years, and the logic is simple: make your kite first, then take it somewhere it will actually fly.
The sessions run on a drop-in basis in two one-hour slots (10:30am or 11:30am) at the golf club at the foot of the common. Children decorate and assemble their kite, then head out onto the open hill to test it. Other crafts are also on the table for anyone who wants to make something without the aeronautical ambitions. The event is aimed at primary-aged children; younger siblings come free if they share materials with an older one.
