The Fairford Steam, Classic and Retro Show has been filling Lake Field on the edge of town for years, and the 2026 edition runs across both Saturday and Sunday with the full range of what makes this kind of show worth the trip.

Saturday's line-up spans full-size traction engines, stationary engines, military vehicles, classic and vintage cars, motorbikes and commercials, two classic fairground organs, fairground rides and a trade and craft area. Two celebrity vehicles are appearing this year: the original orange 1969 Dodge Charger "General Lee" from The Dukes of Hazzard, and a 1983 red Ferrari 308 formerly owned by Liverpool Football Club. Live music plays on Saturday evening, with the beer tent run by Fairford Cricket Club.

Adults £10 on the gate (or £8 early bird online), children (5–16) £5, family ticket £25. Under 5s free. Gates open 9am. A hop-on-hop-off bus service runs from Fairford town. Runs for 2 days Saturday and Sunday
