Turn one healthy perennial into several with a practical morning workshop at Painswick Rococo Garden. You'll work through when to lift and divide plants, which tools and methods to use, and how to replant for strong regrowth.

The session is part of the garden's Gardening Workshops programme, run in partnership with Exedra Nursery, and includes hands-on practice rather than a talk from the sidelines. It finishes with tea and cake in the Rococo Garden tipi, giving you time to compare notes with other gardeners.

It is a useful choice if you want to fill gaps, share plants with friends or get more from what is already growing. The wider garden has steep, uneven paths and the venue does not recommend wheelchair or mobility-scooter use there, so check the practical details before planning extra time onsite.
