Council of Collaboration: DIRT / Dialect Press Poets

About this event

A poetry circle where the audience gets a say

Council of Collaboration brings DIRT and Dialect Press poets to Holy Trinity Church for a live experiment in shared making, drawing on the practice known as way of council. Lucy Holme, Alycia Pirmohamed, Hannah Copley, Andrew Hykel Mears, Claire Carroll, Rachel Goodman, Elvire Roberts, JLM Morton and Alice Willitts will read collaborative work, guided by Alun Hughes.

Quickfire readings, shifting seats and open questions blur the line between reader and audience. DIRT is Dialect Press's plantable ecopoetry imprint, built around collaborative poems and carbon-positive printing, so this is as much about how poems are made together as how they are heard.

Holy Trinity Church is on Trinity Road next to Stroud Hospital. The event page does not state step-free access, seating, toilets, an age limit or participation limits, so check with the festival if those details matter.

Ticketed. Book through the Dobunni Poetry Festival event page.
