Welsh voices fill Cirencester's medieval parish church

Côr Meibion De Cymru, the South Wales Male Choir, brings its choral tradition to St John Baptist Church. The choir is joined by a combined Military Wives Choir with members from Brize Norton and the UK Defence Academy, with the evening directed by Dr Huw Rees.

Formed in 1982, the South Wales choir has toured internationally, including commemorative performances in Flanders and Normandy. St John's is an established concert venue with excellent acoustics, giving these two choral groups a setting built for a full, resonant sound.

If you need access support, ask the parish about the entrance and seating arrangements when booking. Arrive for doors at 6.50pm to settle in before the music starts, and hear the two groups share this large historic room.
